The Dr.Pandith Puttaraj Gawai’s Industrial Training Institute, Gadag, and the District Head Quarters. Established in the Year of 2007. It has been set-up under the Craftsman Training Scheme affiliated to National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), through the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGE & T), Govt. of India under the ministry of skills & entrepreneurship, New Delhi.
Objectives
The Institution aims at preparing students of ordinary merit, theoretically and practically in various job oriented I.T.I. Courses in commercial and technical disciplines. The Institute, by name, Dr.Pandith Puttaraj Gawai’s Industrial Training Institute, Gadag ensures that the students on completion of their respective courses are ready and confident to face the extremely competitive world and obtain suitable jobs, in any Government or non Government field / establishment.
Mission
Industrial Training aims to reduce unemployment among economically poor students and promote Skill India Mission.

During The Two Years Duration Of Electrician Trade A Candidate Is Trained On Professional Skills& Knowledge, Engineering Drawing, Workshop Calculation & Science And Employability Skill Related To Job Role.
FITTER (NCVT)
During The Two-Year Duration A Candidate Is Trained On Subjects Professional Skill, Professional Knowledge, Engineering Drawing, Workshop Science & Calculation And Employability Skill Related To Job Role.
